Maybe dark romance isn't my thing... but I could not stand the dialogue or the thought process of the MMC. He protects children... but stalks a woman... and then the first sexual scene is gun play??? HOLD UP. The plot is clear, but this is not something that I would recommend to anyone... Don't let Tiktok control every book you read is what I learned while reading this.
