Firestarter by Stephen King
4.0
For a Stephen King book, Firestarter is pretty trim and slim. Things moves in a rather fast pace, no-nonsense, the characters are pretty much limited, and the ending is rather (arguably) happy. But of course, no, not everyone is getting out of the last page alive.
And I, for once, am terribly curious about the fate of Charlene 'Charlie' McGee, considering the choice she makes in the last chapter. It's a shame that we probably would never hear anything ever again about her, unlike Danny Torrence of [b:The Shining|11588|The Shining (The Shining, #1)|Stephen King|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1353277730l/11588._SY75_.jpg|849585] that gets a sequel (hello, [b:Doctor Sleep|16130549|Doctor Sleep (The Shining, #2)|Stephen King|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1510335480l/16130549._SY75_.jpg|17851499]).
