I finished Ice Cream Man Volume 1 yesterday and it was sooo good! So without a doubt I went ahead and bought all the four issues in this coming volume, and I was not disappointed. This comic reminds me of American Horror Story, every single issue it manages to reinvent itself and it’s very refreshing. I love how disconnected the stories are from one another, yet there still being a story that gets unfolded (the Ice Cream man and the man in black). My favourite one was the neapolitan episode, where for each flavour, there was a different path the main character took. It was super clever and a nice depiction of the butterfly effect. Throughout the comic there are a lot of absurd things that take please, but in a weird way I felt that it provided comic relief, like when one woman is on the phone and her I gets poked out by a bird and she’s like ‘I’m going to have to call you back Bob’ lmao. Would definitely recommend!!!
