I felt very lost during the first about 100 pages of the book but once you learn that this is very intentional and there is a logical and plot relevant reason for it, it does feel pretty cool. But I can't help myself but feel that this still puts a slight dent in my enjoyment of this book since I was really confused when starting out the book.
Otherwise what I have read has been really excellent. It is not just Ruocchios beautiful writing that shines but I also enjoyed all the places the story went. There have been some emotional gut punches, a very cool and dark Mystery that keeps slowly unfolding while adding new and very intruiging questions and fascinating new characters we got to meet in this novel.
Pretty sure I am all in into reading all of Sun Eater now. The upcoming novella, short story collection and the next book already lie in wait
