This was gruesome 😳 but I thought it was a really clever story, and very suspenseful. The ending really made me think about the world and wonder how often the thing or events that are publicized are not the true events that really happened.
Anyway, I was hooked on this one pretty much the whole way through. The stakes were so high and that made me really care about what was happening with the characters. The villain was so believable in the way of true villains. Like, how can you be this evil?
I also loved the found family aspect, which is not something I usually find in a thriller.
This was a very solid thriller and was SO GOOD on audio.
