What a great fantasy novella! I thoroughly enjoyed this antihero tale. I felt like it packed an entire book into 100 pages - why don't they write all fantasy books like this? Keep it simple, keep it fun and entertaining. I had character development, I was invested, and I got what I came for.

Would highly recommend to readers of more "cozy" fantasy authors like T Kingfisher, Travis Baldree, Becky Chambers, and uhhh the Murderbot stuffs.
