In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin by Erik Larson
4.0
I learned a lot about our government from this book. It was quite fascinating to see how the world initially reacted to Hitler. Specifically, the number of people in the State Department who supported the Nazi movement. It really made me think about the role of government in foreign affairs - particularly, when is it appropriate to interfere.
