I received an ARC copy and am providing my honest review.

Okay, straight up, this book isn't for everyone. The whole premise of this series is to be silly and addition of water sports definitely isn't for everyone. But holy heck this was fun!

Best friends, one a werewolf (Mash) and one a shifter (Cian) (and don't worry, there is a great description in chapter 1 about the differences), pretend to fake date to stop Mash's pack from pressuring him to find a mate. Best way to show this to a group of werewolves who scent everything? Piss. But don't worry, it's all very clinical and applied from a bottle (to begin with 😏)

Turns out, they're both secretly in love with each other, but don't want to ruin the friendship. What follows is a tale of a happily single, himbo good boy having a sexual (and romantic) awakening, and his logical, organised best friend trying his best not to let his walls down.

I loved Mash in book 1 and am so glad I got to read his journey to love. This made me absolutely laugh out loud and of the two phrases I highlighted, I think this one sets the tone for the type of book it is 'The relief was instant, like I buckling a too-tight belt or having a really big poo.'

So, if you don't mind a bit of fluid play, and loooooove a good boy, this one will have you howling like a wolf.
