from a writer's perspective, this book has a lot of telling rather than showing and it gets to be a bit redundant, but this could be due to the fact that it was adapted from a play and translated from Japanese. also a little bit boring. not enough going on for me. overall, I found the characters very lovable and the plot idea was superb. a charming little read.
