Evelyn was such courageous, resourceful and a survivor. I don’t know if I could have survived what she had been through. Top it off she was fortunate to find Lucas an ex navy seal while running from her ex. Lucas was a sweetheart and patient with her and finally won her confidence. My emotions were all over the place while reading the story. It was a great book.
