Given the subject matter, I appreciate this being written by a woman. That being said, some of her writing made it difficult to follow the timeline...and some writing felt awkwardly fluffy for the content.

Unrelated to my 4 stars: I listened to the audiobook and I recommend not listening if you have misophonia. I've never heard an audiobook narrator swallow so much.
