The Oceanography of the Moon by Glendy Vanderah
4.0
I loved "Where the Forest Meets the Stars" so much that I immediately put the author's other books on my wish list.
I didn't find this story quite as magical as the first, but it was still mostly a good read.
Where it fell apart for me was with the reveals of the twists. I had figured out a couple of things, but then it went off the rails a bit when and then .
I had to put aside a lot of disbelief to get through the rest of the story, and I was doing ok until. It felt very much like early readers or the publisher wanted that loose end tied up so the author tossed it on as an afterthought.
