The good: the main character's musings and revelations on a life well lived, and what forms that can take. Particularly the conversations and inner monologues in Morocco.

The Meh: I don't really care for Mr. Less as a character. He's bland.

And yet... it was a good read. I just don't think it is as prizewinning as the voting members and boards seem to think it is.
