Whit by Cora Rose

5.0

Caleb has an obsession with his roommate Whit—definitely not something a straight man should admit to, but Whit is a bit of an enigma. He’s quiet, studious, keeps to himself, barely tolerates him, and is Caleb’s complete opposite, but there’s something about him that Caleb is drawn to and he can’t get enough.

Things change between the pair when Caleb wakes up cuddling his roomie after falling ill. The more Caleb gets to know Whit, the more he wants him, but Whit doesn’t open up easily and has too many secrets to count. Secrets that could ruin everything between him and Caleb. Lines continue to blur, friendship turns into lust, and lust into love, and hearts get broken.

I may or may not have ugly cried for the last 10% of the book because I was not expecting that implosion, but oh my god… Caleb and Whit get the ending they deserve, but my heart was not at all prepared. Looking forward to Sem and Mags book, and hoping it won’t destroy me like this did.
