This is a dark Mafia romance, emphasis on dark. The Daddy/Little kink was a bit jarring (I don’t know what I was expecting considering the tittle and subject matter, so it was my fault for being shocked). However, much like the 1st book in the series, the kinks are not described in too great a detail. All in all, a good addition to the series, and I loved the two scarred, traumatized, yet loving MCs. It may be read as a standalone, but there are characters mentioned from the 1st book.
