Holidating by Sarina Bowen

5.0

I spent 2024 reading books on my TBR and my subscription boxes and didn't enjoy reading nearly as much as I did in 2023.  When I saw Sarina post this book on Threads, I immediately added it to my TBR.  I didn't get to it at Christmas but I made it a priority for January because I wasn't waiting until December again.

Books like this are why I read so much more in 2023. I devoured Bowen's True North series in 2023 and this book just reminded me 1. Why I love KU books so much and 2. That I am going to prioritize Bowen's contemporary romance backlist this year.  Because her books are one of the reasons I love reading so dang much.

I loved each and every story in this anthology.  I actually laughed at myself when I saw my personalized recommendation on Storygraph say that I may not like this, because I don't read a lot of anthologies-fair I don't.  It also said I didn't read a lot of nerdy books (Did they glaze over my Ali Hazelwood obsession...?)  so that just made me double down on this because Andy B.? He's the bar and all men should follow suit and fortunately Damien and Weston did.

If you can't tell, I loved this. Stayed up way past my bedtime to devour as much as possible.  Finished before noon the next day.  Actually got annoyed when I had to pause to join a work meeting.
