I really enjoyed this book. The writing was simple but fast paced and the world was flushed out really well.
There were a few twists and turns that I could see coming but one or two of them were a pleasant surprise.
In a few instances, I couldn't quite reach the connection between certain things even though I wanted to so I decided to just accept what I was being told so that I could continue on to the greater part of the story because that is where my true interest was.
I started this book expecting one thing and ended up with something completely different and I am extremely excited to continue Jules' journey because it is VERY interesting.
I will say, if you find it a slow read at any point, hold fast and just you wait for those last few chapters and prepare yourself for what is yet to come.
Can't wait for book 2!
