This was such a sweet middle-grade novel about friendship, sabotage, justice, and attempted murder that left me guessing the whole time who the culprit of such a heinous act could be. It’s mysterious and leafy me craving some sweet treats.
When a notoriously mean chef drops into a coma whole judging a baking competition for young teens competing for a scholarship to the high school of their dreams, the bullied assistant, the lovable ever-tv-ready chef judge, and four contestants who all seem to have something to hide. Two best friends, an aspiring baker and an aspiring journalist seek to uncover the truth.
