Free Fall by Khushi T. Saha
4.0
finished reading Free Fall and I'm still reeling from the experience! This book is amazing. It has opposites attract, with a healthy dose of grumpy/sunshine, cultural differences, and steamy romance.
Aariv Abbas, the gruff and handsome attorney, and Chrissy Smyth, the free-spirited and optimistic young woman, are complete opposites. Their initial encounter is hilarious, with Aariv's grumpiness clashing with Chrissy's bubbly personality.
As their paths continue to cross, their differences become the foundation for a passionate and all-consuming romance. I loved watching Aariv's gruff exterior crack, revealing a complex and vulnerable character beneath.
Chrissy, on the other hand, is a force of nature - her optimism, enthusiasm, and kindness are infectious. Her character adds a much-needed lightness to the story, balancing out Aariv's darkness. The author's writing is engaging, witty, and insightful, tackling themes of cultural identity, family expectations, and personal growth. The supporting characters add depth and humor to the story, making it a truly immersive read.!
