Lilith Vincent books are dark with a twist. At first I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like this book, but as the love story of Laz and Mia unfolded I liked it more and more. Laz and Mia have a lot in common even though they have an 11 year age gap. Plus he is her stepfather, but he didn’t want to be in an arranged marriage with her mother. I say keep reading and if you get half way through and you don’t want to finish it and find out what happens, then don’t continue. But I can’t imagine anyone getting halfway through the book and not wanting to find out what happens in the end. I started this book one evening and finished it. Y the next afternoon, I was so enthralled with it.
