This was so short and sweet but it also felt incredibly long and full. I've been obsessed with mermaids and water spirits for as long as I can remember and this little book hit all the right spots for me. I almost always prefer my stories with at least a little bit of romance (though I most often go very heavy on the love) and the relationships in this book were so devastatingly beautiful and bittersweet that I couldn't help but both love and hate it at the same time.
