I can say, I wouldn’t have categorized this as a romance. Especially since there was more abuse on page that her recovering from it.
Because I can assure you one thing, Caleb should’ve been a damn dead man many chapters ago. And I didn’t like the fact that everything August shared in regards to how he liked Iris was just physical. Yes he cared and all that but I didn’t see why smut was even included here - especially after reading all the abuse on page.
