I prefer Pamela Clare's Colorado High Country series. I started with these, but I only felt so-so about this one. I like the characters, and I love how Clare's characters are close, part of a team and we get to see them even once their books are over. This was a little too...something, I don't know. I felt like Gabe was kind of..pushy and ew at times. He said things that made me want to smack him and there's Kat...just fallin all over that. So...not my favorite.
