I felt physically nauseous at some parts but overall I loved this!! I fell in love with the family and will forever hold them close, cry over this story they were put in and forced to endure. I know some people really REALLY don't like this book but I was absolutely consumed by it and can't stop thinking about it. And I actually liked the ending. This book was scary and brutal and made me feel a bit sick at times while also making me nervous. Which is some of what I look for in horror so that's great! But it also gave me characters I love which is always a plus and it made me love this story even more. Exactly the type of thing I was looking for right now! So glad I read it! Even if I'm kind of sad now and feeling vaguely empty
Graphic: Child death, Gun violence, and Suicidal thoughts
Minor: Homophobia
