Gone with the Witch by Angela M. Sanders

2.0

This was the most infuriating book I have read.

Everyone sucked.

And the protagonist was such a pushover I wanted to throttle her just as much as I wanted to with Helen, Martin, and Roz. Even Sherlock….

It is not a great sign when a mystery in a book can be resolved through a single conversation.

And if Martin had not be such a repulsive coward this book would not exist.

I just don’t think this was well executed.

I fought to be engaged and I fought to want these characters to succeed.

One of the neater aspects of this story is the fun magic system. Seriously for a person that consumes books like I do, this is basically a cool superpower.

Not happy with this one but I am still curious to see where this goes especially with a potential arch nemesis on the horizon.
