review: first of all this book surprised me so much! i started reading it expecting it to be just another quick and fun read which it was but i also couldn't predict how invested in this story i would end up being. these hollow vows is pitched as a mix between the cruel prince and a court of thorn and roses, and while i could definitely notice aspects of those similarities this book gave me vibes of a cinderella retelling mixed with the selection. the plot and the characters were very well written and what had me the most hooked were all the betrayals we see in this book. one of the cons of the book is that I easily predicted all of the plot twists but i didn't mind that much since i love being right lol.
i would definitely recommend picking this book up if you need something fun to get you out of a reading slump but i wouldn't recommend it if you're weak and can't handle a love triangle.
overall can't wait for the sequel !!!
