This book was very interesting! As someone who has a major body modification this book really spoke to me. It was predictable, but not in a bad way. It also had the common womanhood horror tropes like periods, sexual assault, and even grooming. But these trope are common because they work. The book kept my attention for sure. My only note would be I wish both girls gave the other a bit of a break. They're so young and so full of love. I wish that showed more.
