Another Word for Love: A Memoir by Carvell Wallace
5.0
absolutely beautiful and honest. the chapters “the sex” “the touch” “the no” “the love” really impacted me, i’ve never seen someone describe a part of how i feel about sex so perfectly. i also really appreciated the description of consent as something that has to be learned and a constant practice, and that when you hurt someone you can’t ever take that back. you can’t erase a persons feelings or memory and that’s why it is so important to be careful with your actions, to hold people with care.
