Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life by Francesc Miralles, Héctor García
4.0
There's a lot of "right" kind of info packed in this little book.
The best thing to do while reading this book is to jot down points and thoughts that resonate with you.
Most self-help books get a bad rep and I'm pretty sure this book did too. In my opinion, the reader needs to take what's important to them and what resonates with them in a self-help book.
Ikigai certainly helped me in pondering over many important concepts of life and kind of pushed me in the right direction to think about them and make the right decisions in the next coming months.
I think I picked it up at the right moment, i.e., at the end of year 2021. It's going to shape my New Year resolutions and hopefully brings more clarity.
