Wow.
So much happened in this book.
Let me just say, I’m glad there’s a follow up novella. I just hope it answers at least some of the questions I have after this.

Ok.
Honestly I’m at a loss for words right now other than to say, I love Emelle. And her mates. But since this series has been single POV with only two very short chapters from two of her mates, it says a lot for me. Usually I am too frustrated with single POV, wanting to know what’s in Everyone’s head to fully enjoy whatever is happening. But. The writing was so good for Emelle’s character that I almost forgot I wasn’t getting other POVs.
She’s so rambley and sarcastic and silly and so totally easily distracted into tangents it was super entertaining being in her head the whole time.

The sex was great. The dirty talk was hot as hell. Plus, their inhibitions are a lot lower than humans, so that made this a really fun ride to be one.
But the relationships though. Those were honestly beautiful. Hilarious a lot of the time. But completely wonderful.

And the danger and excitement and all the twists and heartbreak and…and…*sigh*
Just everything.
I loved all of it.

I wish we got a few more answers at the end about how everything is getting rebuilt, but I’m holding out hope that we get some of those in the last book.

Just. Yes.
If you’re on the fence about reading this series and you’re wondering if it’s worth it. The answer is yes.
I 100% recommend.
It’s everything I want in a romance.
Funny. Sweet. Badass FMC who’s also klutzy, with a bad case of ADD, and is beautifully confident in herself. Badass, growly, alphahole mates who are also totally sweet and adorable and playful and fully and completely adore their girl. Sexy. Smutty. Adventurous…
I could go on.
It’s fantastic. I’m so glad I finally read it. I’m sad it’s over.
