The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman

4.0

The Thursday Murder Club is back. This time Elizabeth's past comes back to haunt her, bringing the Club along. She receives a note written by a man she knows 100% is dead asking her to meet him in one of the center's apartments. At the same time, Ibrahim is determined to break out of his shell of fear and anxiety and enjoy life. But on a day trip he is mugged and assaulted. (I think Ibrahim is my favorite of the group.) Then Donna and Chris are trying to get enough evidence to bring in the local coke dealer, but she is always one step ahead of him. Each story is brought together for a satisfying end. I enjoyed this installment more than the first. There is plenty of humor to go along with the thriller.
