Thank you for the read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. 
 There is so much going on with these characters,after all Mal isn't just the common crime boss Prometheus that Danny had believed, he has a sweeter shy side that only a few get to see that, Just as Danny isn't just the cop by day and Zeus by night as he takes on more responsibly to his home town even to the point of his own self control. Book one was just a the taste that hooked you in to their story as Mal and Danny come across a mutual agreement only to fall in to a trap that neither saw coming.  Book two has a more edge of your seat with the struggles and violence that Olympus city is brewing.
 Everything felt like it was closing in on Danny, as his control is slipping, IA investigation and now a new enemy, that could be any and everywhere? Waiting on Hades to make his next move, With so much to loss. What started as just revenge fuelled lust was leading to more, ending what he has with Mal maybe just what Hades needs to push to drive Danny to the brink. Only once Mal learns the real motive behind Danny's sudden interest, will Mal still fight to keep the hero safe!
