Maggie is living in her queer truth, navigating her first lesbian relationship - first healthy lesbian relationship. She sees grief in several forms, hers, her brothers and her fathers. She then finds letters that are attached to her mothers will and sets out to hand deliver them. While out, she learns the true relationships her mother has with these men.

In the end, she is able to see that her mother also had struggles, wants, needs and most of all priorities.

I enjoyed this read. Mostly because it showed that love has no solid set of rules and what works for one relationship may never work for others. Though, in the end true love is mostly about communication, boundaries, trust, and understanding.
