This book was a wonderfully written, flowing story filled with constant action and intrigue. Within hours of picking the book up from the library, I eagerly devoured it. The characters were well written and their development throughout the book was well done. The author also did an excellent job of showing and tackling some of the social and racial injustices of the time period. Overall, it was a very enjoyable read.
