Schizophrenia, Culture, and Subjectivity: The Edge of Experience by

4.0

Scholars research divided into agile chapters that bring meaningfully part of the subject into understanding.

That helps with comprehension that schizophrenia is usually illness of people who are ordinary and extraordinary, for whom truths about humanity are fateful, have, deep, with lots of meaning. Normal and more so.
That positive emotions are not felt by schizophrenics, especially pleasure and that they do intent to look for external pleasure.

That they are suffering often from homelessness and inability to pay rent.

The lesson for me, from this book would be that. Now I do think that it is illness for makers of masterpieces like Mozart or Beethoven (or any romantic gentleman) and for poor souls in Asylum, like Salieri.

As I know now that all these that suffered in pain and misery in they're bed, sweating and even complaining. Are part of that mysterious illness.

As the most clear cause of that illness is Environment (like if you are bullied while growing up).
