Um...what?
Honestly I just want you to read this book so I can ask if you understood it because I *think* I did but then there were so many weird plot points and red herrings (were they red herrings, though? Or I am missing something?)
HERE THERE BE SPOILERS:
So the little sister stole the baby of the murderer? Or did he give her the baby to make up for killing her sister? Is that why he was crying when he was holding the baby? The wife seems like she thinks her husband murdered her but is also wanting to believe that older sister killed herself after being tied up? Or did the sister find her tied up at the park and kill her? And why was the little sister hanging out with old people? Also, how can you see someones knees in an SUV and not see that they're wearing a skirt? And why would she even tell the delivery guy what the other girl was wearing? And why does she want the doctor to show up at church so much? Why are they all doing poetry? How did the little sister get too much plastic surgery but then later looks like herself again? Did the sister's mom change the older sister's name after her death because of what she said or were they actually just trying to create fake documents for a stolen baby? Am I supposed to still be trying to figure this out or is it just a study in guilt and revenge and unreliable narrators?
For such a tiny book I sure have a lot of questions.
