This book was a quick, fun read, but I think it just wasn't for me. So this review truly does not reflect the writing or anything like that. It was well written and I enjoyed listening to the audiobook - I think I'm just still iffy on omegaverse and this was very omegaverse (if that makes sense to anyone but me lol).

That being said, I enjoyed the hurt/comfort. I thought Burke was great. He was steady, dependable, and kind. I thought Emerson was sweet and thoughtful. I enjoyed their meeting and the building of their relationship. I think they go well together. Burke's scars were less of an issue than I thought they'd be given the title, but overall it was a good, fast, smutty read. 3/5 spice levels.
