This was not what I expected and that’s probably on me. Yes the main couple is gay, I don’t think this is a LGBTG+ book for that because it does not effect the book, if this was a straight couple it would be the same book. I do think we could have used more background on the family to care more about them. Overall this is a fast read and still well written.
