The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

5.0

this book is uniquely lovely!
That is the best way I can describe it!
E writing is unique but lovely, the characters special and unique and lovely.... You see a theme here?

Let me try to explain but I am sure I can't.

This is a very unique fantasy story -at least to me it is!

The story is very different and I love how rothfuss build the book, with getting started when kvothe is and adult and then kvothe himself starts telling his life story to two people and the reader just gets to ride along. I love those storytelling moments just as much as the moments we get when kvothe takes a break or needs a breather and we see how much parts of the story affect him even at that point in his life.

I love the writing! It's beautiful and takes the story forward but at the same time takes breaks at the right moments. It just is... Lovely!

I really enjoyed the fantasy aspects, and at the same time how real all the characters seem as if we could ran across the, at any moment in real life!

I could talk endlessly about all the moments I love, but honestly? I just say this:

I think this is the perfect book for people that love fantasy and mostly read fan fast, or for those that just get started in it. Because it has it all, the great moments, the epic moments, but at the same time there are also so many real moments that don't necessary scream fantasy, so really this is a book for everonye that wants to give fantasy a try or isn't so sure if they are this kind of epic fantasy reader!

So just go in, don't be intimidated by the size, this book will fly by! Just pick it up!
