[5 Stars] Wow. I was really impressed with this one! The unbecoming of Mara Dyer was good but I think the Evolution was far superior. I love the way it is written, you never know how everything is happening and I really enjoyed the addition of certain plot twists. At the end of the first book I was afraid we were simply going to fall into the typical kid with certain abilities trope but that is not truly the case. Really gripping and highly unpredictable! You only know as much as Mara and that is what is so terrifying.
