Surviving Savannah by Patti Callahan
Did not finish book. Stopped at 37%.
I enjoy books about shipwrecks. A story about “The Titanic of the South” sounded like something I’d enjoy. This book switches between 3 points of view…current day, and two points of view during the disaster in 1838. Main character in present day is a descendant of one of the survivors, so we get the racism of Savannah’s older, plantation owning families. And the pov of two white women in the past just was uncomfortable.
