A Sweet love story about a murderous hitman stalker and a mafia princess.
It had action, family politics, non boring or cheesy flashbacks, a time jump, slow burn and a bit of angst.
All good things.
The book was pleasant, nothing mind-blowing but a decent mafia book. It contains cameos but it can be read as a standalone. I am intrigued by her sister and brother's future story.
The book was compelling and I listened to it in one sitting.

As per usual I don't think it will be the most unforgettable novel (update form a month later: I have almost no recollection about this book) but it kept me mildly entertained for half a day.
This couple was good but for sure it didn't give me butterflies.

On a side note: for the past year I have red way less romance books, and mafia romances, than I used to during the pandemic and the couple of years following and I find reading about murderers more troubling. But it was still done in a way that I found okay.

Have a nice day reader
