Wow -- not at all what I expected. Great murder mystery, great characters. Loved all the information about the past and how the cold mystery was solved as well as the current murder. Learned a lot about friends, lovers and family. Makes you wonder if we should all be writing journals for our grandchildren and after. Couldn't believe the main storyline though -- Found myself wondering how I'd react, what I'd say, what I'd do. Can't wait for book 10 and hopefully after to see what happens!
