The Twist Tales series puts a spin the the Disney films we love. Almost There is based off The Princess and the Frog. It asks the question what if Tiana made a deal with Dr Facilier instead of defeating him like she did in the film?
I love the Twist Tales series. I have to admit I've not read one for a couple of years and I didn't realise there were so many to read.
I always find these books to be such a fast read and they always hook me right from the start. Almost There was no different.
All our favourite characters are involved, including some brilliant new ones. I also liked how it delved into the race and wealth issues or New Orleans. It was very interesting to see such an important topic explored in the novel.
I would really recommend this to anyone who loves Disney but also anyone who likes to see how thing could have ended.
