I never really read romance because I'm afraid of reading a story entirely predictable, cliche and/ or uninteresting, no matter the rating. But after finishing Love and Gelato I'm afraid I've found hope in YA Romance. This book was exactly what I needed, it was wonderful and exciting and I hope to the stars it won't be brutally disfigured in a movie adaptation (because let's be honest with the way the movie industry's going a movie adaptation is inevitable). Now I know Jenna Welch's only other book Love and Luck hasn't received as much praise as this one but I'll be on the look out for it anyways for the chance to find a book like Love and Gelato.
