I loved this book. I think it's now one of my top three -- maybe even top -- favourite poetry books. I thought that the blend of storytelling and emotion was perfect, I counted at least six times that this book made me cry. I would highly recommend this book to everyone I know, especially marginalized readers, or settler allies looking to learn more from an own-voices poetic masterpiece.
