I just really love Derek, okay. I like that we finally got some backstory for him, too.
It was nice to see Julie hold her own as well, and I'm definitely curious to see if her gamble pays off. I really appreciate her reaction to her bond with Kate—she's 16, but she has seen a lot, and it's obvious in the way she acts. I was expecting this to become a wrench between them, but it doesn't look like it will, and I'm glad.
