Astonishing is right.

This was a fantastic X-Men ride! Pity Whedon hasn't aged as finely as these stories. Some points are still, sadly, quite relevant here in 2023. Most of the story is timeless and well-told, and the art is gorgeous. Glad I own this one, and will be rereading it for fun in the future.
