His Prince by Cora Rose

Angelo • Mikhail

….

“Well, fool me once.
But twice?
I’ll burn the fucking world down.”

….

I’ve been waiting on Angelo. A boy who only wanted to be truly loved. A boy who thought he found that once in a lifetime love. A boy who felt betrayed. A boy who said “hold on”. A boy who wears his heart on his sleeve but don’t be fooled. A man who is so easy to love. A man that truly cares.

And then we have Mikhail. A scared boy at heart. And a man when he loves, loves with his all.

This book was an epitome of fighting for love. A love that has a worth, worth protecting for and bloom, like Angelo’s gardens.

I think my favorite aspect in this book was the back and forth, eye for an eye. Something about that micro trope gets me all giddy up every single time.

Overall, I had a good time.

….

“I never stay.” // “I just want to be someone else for a little while. Just for a moment.” // “I’ve always cared far too much.” // “Goodnight, little devil.” // “I wish I never did that.” // “…and I can feel everything. I remember it all.” // “Everything is bright and loud. Everything is…” - “Alive. Everything is alive.” // “A light in the shadows of my mind.” // “You satisfied now?” // “Is this better, my prince?” // “And here he is, my little Angel, bringing me to my knees.” // “He always knows what I want, what I need, even before I know myself.” // “This can be your space just as much as it’s mine.” // “I’m Angel Ivanov.” …

*I reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.
