Devney Perry has done it again. Another absolutely fantastic book with the best tropes and characters.
I loved how this included snippets of Millie and Ford from Coach but still made sense as a standalone. I also loved learning more about volleyball.
One of my favorite parts of this book was Jenny's work ethic. I love athletes that leave it all on the field even in practice. It's very inspiring.
I was a little nervous for the age gap/forbidden aspect of this book, but Perry outdid herself and it isn't the least bit cringey. I loved how mature Jennsyn was and how the relationship evolved.
I highly recommend to anyone that loved football or volleyball romance and also if you like a forbidden age gap. These tropes are all very well done.
I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.
